it seems to me that ectkeeper + ecryptfs + cloud storage makes for a very interesting and price sensitive off-site backup solution for system administrators. But that's for admins...for people who like the terminal.
How's integration of encrypts + remote storage solutions for secure personal backups/sharing into the Linux Desktop coming along? Does ifolder make this sort of thing "easy" to do? Maybe this is the sort of direction Canonical is going to explore with its UbuntuOne services..which is still only an internal project.
